Tongle's first kindergarten was founded in 1997. It was the first private kindergarten in Taiyuan with no winter or summer breaks and no Sundays. It was also the first in Shanxi Province to introduce shuttle buses and the first private institution in Taiyuan to receive a five-star qualification from the Education Bureau.
